Bookings

To attend a club course or trip, you do not need to be a member, but everybody needs to reserve a spot via booking.

This form is merely a registration of interest to attend a specific trip or course offered by the club.

Note that courses/trips will only go ahead if sufficient participants register to attend. A member of our team will be in contact with you to arrange the details of your booking.

If the course or trip you want to attend is not in the dropdown or the dates proposed in the calendar do not suit you, we suggest you still let us know and register your interest.

Terms and Conditions

I understand that participating in kayaking/canoeing activities is an “assumed risk” activity. I understand that the Club or Organisers accept responsibility only for the canoeing/kayaking and leadership activities.

The club/organizers accept no responsibility for the effect that weather/water level conditions may have on the programme. In the unusual event of severe weather conditions forcing us to cancel an activity for reasons of safety you will be given the option of an alternative date at your convenience but subject to availability. In the above circumstances, having arranged reasonable alternative dates, we will not refund booking fees.

Once we have confirmed your booking you must attend on the chosen date Please note that any course cancelled within 30 days of the start will incur loss of all fees. If you have any concerns regarding your ability to participate in a course on which you have enrolled you are strongly advised to take out appropriate insurance. Surrey Canoe Club is not in a position to indemnify candidates against any illness, injury or other misfortune which may affect attendance. If a course has to be cancelled by Surrey Canoe Club a full refund will be given.
