Surrey Canoe Club’s vision is to harness the power of sport to create opportunity for all
Our mission is to promote sport by breaking down barriers to participation and supporting community engagement. We focus on three integrated areas:
- Individual wellbeing
- Education
- Community Development
We aim to achieve 3 strategic goals by 2025:
- Participation: Disabled adults and young people improve their well-being, their lives and the lives of those around them.
- Education: Vulnerable and disabled adults and young people have improved experiences and life chances.
- Community Development: Prevention – Disabled adults, young people, the elderly, and families successfully deal with life changes and challenges.
It is only down to working with others that makes it possible for us to put our strategic plan into action and increase our impact.
Not all of our partnerships are financial. We also work with other organisations and charities in South West London and Surrey, and we run in-kind partnership agreements over short and long periods of time. We are looking to work with experts in a range of disciplines.
If you are interested in being part of our work so we can collectively change lives and improve communities, why not get in touch to explore how we can work together in partnership.
